Danse L'Affaire

You're all invited to our ballroom dance party!   Beginners are welcome, bring a friend or two.  There will be dance lessons at the beginning, so get your moves then if you dont have any! 

Cost:

• $7 for L'Affaire members (pay your dues to be sure your name is on the members list)
• $8 for students
• $10 for public

Dress:

• fashionable yet casual
• informal yet attractive
• no jeans

Its usually about this time of year (spring quarter) that we experience aches and pains that are unrelieved with rest.  You know what I'm talking about, back pain, leg pain, foot pain, shoulder and neck pain.  And you've tried everything to make it go away:  from icing to stretching and even taking days off from practice.  Why oh why does it still hurt?

After walking more than 6 miles around downtown San Francisco, from fisheman's wharf to the Golden Gate Bridge, our journey had a sweet ending with an awesome competition!  Our event went by very fast, but we had a lot of fun and had a great opportunity to watch the professionals compete! It was very inspiring and we are motivated for the next competition!!

Congratulations to our couples who placed at the California Open competition this past weekend.  The competition was a great experience for our couples.  The final results were:

We are going salsa dancing as a group on Friday night, the 23rd.  We'll be meeting at JC Fandangos.  Here's the lowdown:

Are you ready to dance??  Winter calendar of classes, competitions and ballroom parties (soon) are on the calendar!  Winter quarter will be a very exciting and packed quarter, with many competitions, social events, classes.......needless to say, time will fly very fast.
